Grew up in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he received a BFA in Illustration. Hewas twice honored ah a student by the society of Illustrators, and has since shown work in the communication Arts Illustration Annual and in Spectrum.
Adam's first chidren's book was the Dirty Cowboy by Ami Timberlake, and has since illustrated many others. His first book as both author and illustrator , Tree Ring Circus, will be published by Harcourt in May 2006.
